Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for seventy-five (75) AIMS Sensor Electrode Arms. The NAICS code is 334513 and the Product/Service Code is 6110. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to AECOM. �The proposed action is for AIMS Sensor Electrode Arms for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). �The basis for restricting competition is for the following reason: the sensor arms are only available from AECOM. �The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to AECOM using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. � � �� Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than September 9, 2020. �This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. �However, all responses received by September 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM EST will be considered by the Government. �Any questions must be received via e-mail by September 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM EST. �A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. �� Inquiries should be directed to Steven Besanko at steven.besanko@navy.mil.
