Description
Quarterly Scheduled Maintenance: The contractor shall perform Quarterly Preventive maintenance checks and services of access control electronic security system hardware, devices and components, circuit board panels, power supply, electric strike locking devices, electronic motion sensor devices, biometric readers with number key pad, computer hardware and software applications and conduit for the ESS at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras.� These maintenance checks shall be conducted IAW Unified Facilities Criteria 4-021-02 and the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) 28 10 05 for required �installation and periodic maintenance.� Submit a written report within 10 calendar days of completion of each quarterly maintenance check to the COR describing status of system components per PWS paragraph 1.6.2.5. Telephone Technical Support Services: The Contractor shall provide technical support services for the ESS via telephone from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.� The contractor will provide subject matter expertise to assist the Government in trouble-shooting the system as well as determining what contractor follow-on services may be required.� The telephonic service in support of a particular work order will be considered complete when the condition has been corrected to the Government and Contractor�s satisfaction, or when the Government or Contractor assess the need for in-person resolution and transition to planning a scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, or emergency service activity.�� Unscheduled Repair Services: In the event there are work orders which require attention before the next quarterly maintenance but do not meet the emergency repair condition, the contractor will have 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the telephonic support to respond to initiate maintenance.� The Government and Contractor will use the time leading up to the arrival of the team to determine what materials or expertise may be needed in order to correct the problem.�Contractor will provide�all reports�as�directed�in the PWS�and paragraph 1.6.2.5.�� Emergency �Repair Services: The Contractor shall provide emergency repair/install services on the ESS as requested by the Government. The Contractor shall respond within 72 hours of notification, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or the first duty day following a weekend. Response includes contractor personnel on site within 72 hours of the call, with the necessary tools available to conduct repairs. Submit a written report within 10 calendar days of completion of any unscheduled repair services to the COR describing repair services performed, repair parts provided, and final status of system after completion of repair services. Contractor will provide�all reports�as�directed�in the PWS and�paragraph 1.6.2.5.�� Repair Parts: Contractor shall provide all necessary repair parts that are needed to make repairs for SCAB CCTV/ESS.� Government will pay actual cost of repair parts. The contractor shall provide the COR with a written quote for all necessary repair parts within 48 hours of assessing the equipment and identifying deficiencies. The COR will review the estimate and submit to the KO for final approval prior to commencement of work. The Government may choose to have contractor purchase parts or purchase parts by other means. A complete and final work order shall act as the reference for all correspondence with the contractor regarding the work performed. The KO�s written approval of the complete and final work order shall constitute the work as being completed and services that the government will pay for. No verbal agreements are authorized. The contractor shall use only new parts and shall show the new part to the COR prior to installation. The contractor shall show the COR the damaged part after replacement.Contractor will provide�all reports�as�directed�in the PWS and�paragraph 1.6.2.5.�� **NOTE** COVID-19 may increase days in country due to required quarantine.
