- STORAGE UNIT - ABERDEEN, SOUTH DAKOTA AMENDMENT #ONE CHANGES THE SET A-SIDE CATEGORY TO SMALL BUSINESS. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Based on Market Research, this is being solicited full and open. The Solicitation No. is 140A0120Q00031 and is a request for quotes. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08D through August 13, 2020. The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services, District #1 has the requirement for storage space for multiple vehicles to be located in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 531130, Lessors of Mini-Warehouses and Self Storage Units, with a small business size standard of $30m. Contractor is required to be registered in SAM with the NAICS Code cited above prior to bid opening. Specifications Building needs to be an open area inside, at least 100' x 100' with 4 garage doors. Unit needs to be large and open to fit and maneuver multiple vehicles including trailers, boats, communications vehicle, and trucks. Unit needs to be wired for lighting, heating and a security system. In addition to the need to have the unit heated, vendor is responsible for all snow removal around the premises to maintain entry/exit access. Photos of building; inside and out, with location address so the Government can visit the site in needed. (JAN 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award will be made using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LTPA) approach; the Government will award to the lowest priced offeror that is determined to meet or exceed the specifications. (b) A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award.
