- This notice is in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), Procurement Division is the contracting office for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to announce the intent to award a firm-fixed-price contract on a sole source basis to Politico, LLC, 1000 Wilson Blvd 8th Floor, Arlington, VA, 22209-3927 (DUNS: 079168780) in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Subpart 13.501.� The product offered by the contractor shall provide users subscription access to valuable daily updates on legislation and policy pertinent to PBGC's interests. Additionally, web-based training, mobile access along with customized reporting shall be available for users.� Speed, accuracy, and relevance of data/information provided by the product is needed in order to support the requirement of PBGC in staying current and informed of legislative and policy updates from Congress. The recency, accuracy and relevance of policy-related information available through the contractor's product is imperative to� meet PBGC mission needs. �Topics and policy of interest, relevant to PBGC include (but are not limited to) Education, eHealth, Energy, Financial Services, Health Care, Labor & Employment, Sustainability Tax, Technology, Trade and Transportation. It is anticipated that an award will be issued on or before September 16, 2020, with a one (1) year base period and two (2) one (1) year option periods of performance from September 16, 2020 through September 15, 2021, if all options are exercised. The applicable NAICS Code is 519130 (Internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portals).� This is NOT a request for competitive quotes. This notice of intent is for informational purposes only. However, all interested parties may submit their capability statements for the required services, which shall be considered by the agency if received by the Points of Contact (POC) listed below by 8:00 AM, EST, September 15, 2020 (reference Solicitation No. 16PBGC20Q0074). A determination to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government POC: Monique Anthony, Contracting Officer at anthony.monique@pbgc.gov. �Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice.
