- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, El Reno, Oklahoma, intends to award a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 - only one responsible source, to General Electric Healthcare, 3000 N. Grandview Blvd, W443, Waukesha, WI 53188, to provide maintenance and repair services for existing radiology equipment in accordance with the attached Statement of Work.� This coverage must apply to all the components that comprise each piece of equipment.� The period of performance for this procurement will be October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.� This notice is neither a request for quotation nor a solicitation of offers as no solicitation document is available.� Based on the requirements, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice.� However, any vendor who believes they can meet these requirements may give a written or fax notification to the Contracting Officer by 4:00 pm CST on September 15, 2020.� Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement.� Point of contact for all information regarding this request is Stasia Hamlin, Inventory Management Specialist, at the address listed below or telephone number 405-319-7497.� Information may be faxed to the attention of Stasia Hamlin at 405-319-7444, mailed to the address below or emailed to shamlin@bop.gov.� Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.� If no responses are received, FCI El Reno will proceed with the sole source procurement with General Electric Healthcare.� Faith-based organizations and Community-based organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
