Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source � Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Office of Contracting to award a Sole Source contract to Laz Parking LTD LLC (Laz Parking) for three (3) Secured/Reserved Parking Spaces for San Francisco Asylum Office Government Official Vehicles.�� Laz Parking is uniquely and solely qualified to accomplish this requirement due to the location of the needed parking spaces at 75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94105 where USCIS� San Francisco Asylum Office is located; Laz Parking is the only parking garage within the building. The period of performance for the base is 10/01/2020-9/30/2021; with an optional period of performance of 10/1/2021-9/30/2022. This contract will be under NAICS code 812930 to LAZ Parking LTD, LLC 15 Lewis St FL5 Hartford, CT 06103-2500. This is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. For this requirement, LAZ Parking is considered the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.� The parking garage, operated by Laz Parking, is identified as the only secured garage with 24 hour a day and 7 day a week access and is located on the ground floor under the San Francisco Asylum Office located at 75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94105.� Further, government staff who are required to transport files to government vehicles located at the secured parking spaces shall have use of the freight elevator from the upper floors of 75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94105 to the parking garage located on the ground floor. This service will be provided at the San Francisco Asylum Office located at 75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94105. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposal. No solicitation document is available. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
