Description

Notice of Intent for award of sole source purchase order for 58th MXS 3D Printer THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL NAICS is 333249 Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing and the size standard is 500 Employees. Notice of Intent for Award: The 377 MSG/ Contracting Division Kirtland AFB, NM intend to award a sole source purchase order to Stratasys. In accordance with the Air Force Metals Technology Office/EZPT-MTO dated 23 July 2019 (see attachment 1) the Stratasys Fortus 450mc and Fortus F900 are the only approved Additive Manufacturing Systems (AMS) in the United States Air Force (USAF). It is this equipment only that meets the Federal Aviation Administration�s (FAA) requirements (toxicity, flammability, smoke and tensile test requirements) for the manufacture of specific plastic parts that is acceptable to be used on USAF weapon systems. The USAF has no other approved AM systems at this time. Stratasys has no authorized resellers outside of their company. All transactions must solely go through Stratasys alone to procure these systems. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement No Later Than 13:00 PM (EST) on 15 Sept 2020.
