Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services in which the government intends to acquire in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Alaska Fisheries Science Center, Auke Bay Laboratories has a requirement for clerical and accounts payable service assisting the Administrative office with a variety of office support tasks which will include (but is not limited to) data entry, filing, invoice processing assistance, tracking payment history and status, and converting papers from hardcopy to PDF format using a high-speed scanner, and c.request data entry. Accounts Receivable tasks are necessary to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate payment of invoices under Government issued contracts.� The performance of these non-personal accounts receivable tasks is routine and repetitive, and Contractor should be able to follow protocol and not need daily direction.� Tasks include invoice processing, statement investigation, payment audits and tracking, investigate and resolve customer queries, process adjustments, and proper documentation.� Clerical tasks include various operations in support of administrative functions at the Ted Stevens Marine Research Institute. The performance of these non-personal clerical tasks is routine and repetitive, and Contractor should be able to follow protocol and not need daily direction.� Tasks include receiving, logging, filing, photocopying, faxing, shredding, perform data entry tasks, compiling data, pulling reports, drafting requests or information in automated system, and other general clerical tasks frequently required in this industry. Services are to be performed on site, by one key personnel, with the following knowledge and experience: Knowledge and Experience with accounts receivables or similar. Time management, organization proficiency, file management, and good communication skills. Ability to investigate and research on the internet, older files, and by telephone. Basic clerical skills to include proficiency in operation of a computer, Microsoft word, Excel, Xerox, Scan, Adobe, and telephones. Offer should include past/present contract or employment information that supports the knowledge and experience of key personal, as listed above.� Further explanation and examples should be provided to show Knowledge and Experience in each listed above. On site services required.� See attached Statement of Work for more information.� �All interested concerns must submit a quotation and documentation demonstrating the qualifications to provide services as described above within fifteen (15) days of the publication date of this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation has been issued. A firm-fixed order is anticipated to be issued in within 24 hours of closing date and time.
