- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to use the procedures of FAR Part 13.501(a) to award a fixed-price purchase order on a sole source basis to Pitchbook Data, Inc. for subscription to private equity data.�� Pitchbook Data Inc. is the only source that can meet the SEC�s requirement because the Pitchbook dataset includes data fields that are not available in other datasets, such as, founder demographic characteristics and detailed information on terms of exits.� The total estimated value of the contract is below the dollar threshold in FAR 13.5 for the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.� The anticipated period of performance of the contract is a Base Period of 12 months and up to four Option Periods of 12 months each.� The SEC anticipates awarding a purchase order to Pitchbook Data, Inc. on or about September 24, 2020. � This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of this notice.
