Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued.� PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted to Contract Opportunities (beta.SAM.gov).� The RFQ number is FA671220Q0003FB. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2020-06.� It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.� The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far �and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/html/current/252201.htm .� The NAICS code is�541990 and the Small Business Standard is $16.5M.� The Pittsburgh 911th Airlift Wing located in Coraopolis, PA intends to issue a sole-source award to ABCO FIRE PROTECTION, INC.� This requirement is for commercial services for the inspection, testing, maintenance and management of the Maintenance Group�s (MXG) flight line, aircraft, building and vehicle fire extinguishers. Based on requirement, halon and non-halon tanks will be transported to and from the military installation. Due to this activity, competition is limited to contractor�s who physically are located in the Pittsburgh Area.�� �Per FAR 5.207(c)(16)(i), All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.� The deadline for submission of questions and/or quotes relating to this requirement is Monday, September 21st at 4:00 p.m. E.S.T.� Quotes/questions received after this deadline will not be accepted. A firm-fixed price IDIQ contract is anticipated with a base plus four option years.
