Description
INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 5, intends to enter into a sole source procurement for a (Monitor, trays, and Vault Stream install and software for the Washington DC VA Medical Center, 50 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20422. In accordance with 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5), 38 U.S.C. 8127(b), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute), and under the authority of VAAR 819.7007, Sole Source Awards to a Verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, the Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order to Company Name: Alliant Enterprises, LLC Address: 33 Bridge St NW, Suite 1125, grand Rapids, MI 49504 Phone: (269)629-0300 . The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is (334111) and the Business Size Standard is (1250) employees. It is the Government s belief that the purchased components have to be compatible in form, fit, and function with the laryngology tower. The monitor must be compatible with the video processor to appropriately display the images. The scope trays have to be fully compatible with the endoscopes being purchased in order to be reprocessed safely and correctly. The image storage solution is validated by the manufacturer and FDA to function correctly for safe storage and diagnosis. The Laryngology tower, and all of its components, are medical devices regulated by the FDA and each component must be validated and approved to function with each other. at the Washington DC VAMC. The estimated value of this acquisition is approximately ($38K). The estimated award date is on or before (9/23/2020). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 1:00 PM Eastern Time, (9/21/2020). Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
