Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2020-07 (eff. 08/31/20). Description of what the equipment being requested is: The Sterile Processing Service is requesting Purchase of 2 AMSCO 7052HP Washer/Disinfectors, 2 Amsco 400 26X37.5X60 Prevacuum Single Hinge Recessed Sterilizers and 1 AmeriWater R03 reverse osmosis water system with 185-gallon tank. Vendor must be able to provide installation, de-installation and put into operation all equipment on weekends and evenings so as to not interfere with normal operation. We have the following specific requirements for the Sterilizers: The unit must be able to processes up to 15 trays and 375 lbs per cycle. The unit must come equipped with a docking station for the transfer carts. The unit must come equipped with a 60 chamber. The unit must come equipped with a real-time remote monitoring function of the sterilizer and cycle parameters. The unit must come equipped with a highly visible cycle phase and time remaining display. We have the following specific requirements for the Washer/Disinfector: The unit must come with an Instrument Cycle Time of 16 Minutes. The unit must have an additional instrument cycle option to allow for the reprocessing of critical devices such as eye instruments. The unit must also be energy efficient and use minimal water (23 gallons per fill cycle). The unit must have a touch-screen control, a convenient USB port to download cycle record. The unit must have a 3-level rack capable of holding up to 6 trays of instruments per level The unit must come equipped with removable spray arm nozzle for easy cleaning The unit must come equipped with a visual cycle progress notification indicator. The unit Dimensions must be - 42 x 80-3/4 x 32"" - (1067 x 2051 x 813 mm). The unit must come equipped with up to 12 lumen flushing hoses. We have the following specific requirements for the RO Water System: The system must come equipped with and a 185-gallon storage tank with demand pump package that provides up to 30 GPM, and up to 4200 GPD. The system must come equipped with a pre-carbon block filter, anti-scalant feed to prevent hard water scale on reverse osmosis, controller with conductivity of feed and product water, simple disinfection cycle, low feed pressure shut down, storage tank with sealed, vented lid and pump package, deionizer polisher with a 200,000 ohm-cm monitor with alarm. Reverse Osmosis System and deionizer polisher with all pretreatment on board in an ABS cabinet and a 185 gallon storage tank with demand pump package that provides up to 30 GPM, and up to 4200 GPD. Deionizer polisher utilizes exchange mixed bed resin packs. Features: pre-carbon block filter, anti-scalant feed to prevent hard water scale on reverse osmosis, controller with conductivity of feed and product water, simple disinfection cycle, low feed pressure shut down, storage tank with sealed, vented lid and pump package, deionizer polisher with a 200,000 ohm-cm monitor with alarm. Ships with four cartridges, four resin packs, four gallons of anti-scalant and one bypass hose kit. SPD Accessories AmeriWater 30 Gallons per Minute 185 Gallon Storage Tank 3 RO Membranes Installation/Deinstallation Disposal of Sterilizer STERIS personnel will determine the most efficient method of disposal including but not inclusive of pick up by STERIS carrier or removal by local scrapping entity. If deinstallation is not performed by STERIS personnel, Customer will decontaminate and move equipment to loading dock for pick up. Please note, disposal of Customer equipment implies Customer relinquishes ownership rights of disposed equipment. Installation of Treated Water System. Please be sure to schedule the install with Charles young at AmeriWater at least 2 weeks in advance (800)535-5585 STERIS installation includes all necessary labor (non-union) and materials required to uncrate, set-inplace and assemble STERIS equipment. Price is for normal working hours, Monday - Friday 8 am -5 pm unless otherwise noted. STERIS also includes with its Installation Services an operational check-out test, any necessary adjustments and a demonstration of the equipment for appropriate facility personnel. Deinstallation - Medium Sterilizers STERIS will make all necessary utility disconnections (not applicable for Canada), remove and transport equipment to a predetermined location within same customer facility for pickup or disposal. Customer is responsible for decontamination and release of the equipment as nonhazardous. Equipment disposition from the staging point will be dependent upon Customer selection of disposal option. Sterilizers are used to provide sterile instrumentation to the operating room, Dental Clinic and various other areas within the facility used during surgical and dental procedures to prevent infections to patients.
