- This Mod is to make the correction that both SITE VISIT times are correct for 10AM. An organized site visit has been scheduled for Sep. 9 @ 10:00 AM EST. The site visit will be conducted at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, Uptown Division, 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904. Meet location is Room GA135 in Bldg.110. POC will be Dennis Calhoun (706) 733-0188 x 6002 Questions will be limited during the site visit. All questions must be sent via e-mail to the Contracting -Officer, Jamal K. Carter, at jamal.carter@va.gov no later than September 12th, 2020 at NLT 4:00 PM EST. An amendment to the RFP will be posted on FBO on or about September 15th with all questions received, including all answers. Q1: About the RFP for 3 fridges removal and replacement (Notice ID 36C24720Q1199) I would like to ask if the contract is just for the service associated with the removal and replacement of the fridges or should the walk-in fridges also be supplied? A1: The work we need done is only for the HVAC portion of the existing refrigerators we have. It includes replacing the condenser and evaporator units for each Walk in refrigerator (3). Q2: There is a serious ambiguity in the PWS as it relates to the CLIN definition. The PWS provides salient characteristic for two units wherein the CLIN request pricing for three units. That said, what are the salient characteristic for the third unit?
