- In accordance with FAR 5.201 presolicitation notification, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) expect to issue a solicitation on or about 21 Sept 2020, to solicit�to lease turn-key Lodging Capsule�Units to house FEMA and FEMA-approved responders within Region 6 impacted areas�from Hurricane Sally.��Lodging Capsules will be sleeping units containing beds, showers, restrooms and sink with support services including wash and fold laundry, janitorial, equipment, staff, onsite medical and morale welfare recreation and catering services when requested for approximately 250 personnel.� The period of performance will consist of a 60 day Base Period and one 30 day Option Period.� The impacted area is Alabama.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532120 Truck, Utility Trailer, and RV (Recreational Vehicle) Rental and Leasing.� The business size standard is $41.5M in annual average receipts.� The Government intends to solicit as unrestricted. This presolicitation notification is for information purposes only and dose not constitute a request for proposals or quotes.� All other information will be included in a solicitation via beta.SAM.gov on or abour 21 Sept 2020.� All interested parties are responsible to monitor this webste for any information or updates regarding this requirement.� All prospective vendors must be registered in www.sam.gov prior to award for Federal contracts, failure to register will deem your firm ineligible to receive Federal awards.
