Description
The Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) is an industrial facility that reworks, repairs, and overhauls various aircraft, engines, and components. Many of the rework processes generates hazardous industrial process water. This industrial water will require treatment prior to be being reused or non-potable water (NPW). FRCSE is requiring supplies that fit current plant configurations to support the water treatment operations. This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirement for industrial process water treatment supplies required by FRCSE. Due to the unpredictability of the demand for industrial water treatment supplies, a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) will be awarded. To sustain production operations, each treatment plant requires specialized, contractor provided tank systems as described in the requirements section. The demand for the specialized tank systems is determined through organic chemical analysis of the water in use to treat aircraft components. The results of the chemical analyses provides the determination for when the resins require replacing. The required supplies have been determined to be commercial items as defined in FAR Subpart 2.1. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to deliver activated resins contained within the appropriate vessels. The Government will be responsible for the actual hookup and installation of the vessel and all plant operations. The Contractor is not authorized to install or place portable vessels in service. A site visit is scheduled on or about 27 October 2020 and attendance is recommended for offerors. All interested vendors should contact preston.grant@navy.mil to receive site visit documentation and information. Anticipated initial delivery will be 14 days after contract award and no later than 28 December 2020. See attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). This is for informational purpose only. Solicitation N6883620R0013 reference has been changed to N6883620Q0360. Solicitation N6883620Q0360 should be released on or about 16 October 2020. POC is Preston.Grant@navy.mil 904-542-1199
