Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is amended to include answers to questions and clarification of instructions to offerors.� Industry Question 1: Procedurally, do I just fill out the�SF-1449 an submit to you via email? Government Answer 1: FAR 52.212-1, instructions to offerors is incorporated into the solicitation by reference, and an amendment is included in the attached version of the solicitation dated 9.17.20. FAR 52.212-3 must also be filled out in accordance with the solicitation. Industry Question 2: Also, our immediately available actuators may not hit every called out spec. Should we submit anyway and note the variance? Or would our submission be rejected out of hand?� Government Answer 2: Offers must provide proof that the actuators meet specified torque, physical, and electrical / electric circuit specifications to be considered for the award.� Variance in the user interface component may be considered; See attached revised solicitation documents dated 9.18.20 Date and time for receipt of proposals is revised to September 23, 2020, 9:00 a.m.� All other terms and conditions remain unchanged by this update. This notice�is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,� as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. The solicitation�and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-07, Effective 08-31-2020. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334510 - Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees.� This acquisition is full and open business only.� Responses are due by 9:00 a.m., September 23, 2020.� Responses must be provided electronically to the Contract Specialist Lisa Schaupp (Lisa.Schaupp@nih.gov) with the notice number in the subject line of the email. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will�be considered by the NIH.
