Description
Acquire 87,000 ceremonial medals, brass and ribbons for the United States�Army 3rd Infantry Regiment Caisson Platoon located at Fort Myer, VA in�support of various ceremonies and special events in the Military District of� Washington and surrounding area. These medals are Personal Medals with�ribbon material, Personal Ribbons with ribbon racks, Unit awards with�brass windows, Buff Straps, Badges (Airborne, Air Assault, Pathfinder, etc.)�Identification Badges (Chief of Staff, Secretary of the Army, Combat Badges,�Drill Sergeants, etc.), Oak Leaf Clusters, Numeral bronze attachments. The�contractor shall provide all Ceremonial Medals, Brass and Ribbons sizes and�Quantities listed in section 2 of this statement of work (excel spreadsheet). (See Attachment 1:�-Equipment List for Brass, medals, insignia and ribbons). All equipment shall be in accordance with Army�Regulation 670-1 which can be found at the following link�www.apd.army.mil/pd_iles/r670_1.pdf. Ceremonial Equipment will be�issued to the incoming personnel to The Old Guard. Also supported are�members of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Drill Team, Army Band,�Caisson, and the Funeral Teams. The aforementioned Ceremonial Medals,�Brass and Ribbons shall be delivered within five (5) business days. This will�be twelve (12) month base with four one year option periods.� Proposals submitted in response to this solicitation shall include the following �Completed 1449, Technical Capability to include Equipment List, and Price.�Electronic email attachments, if included, shall be prepared using Microsoft Office. When submitting questions and comments, please refer to the specific text of the RFP in the following format: Reference: RFP Section ___, Paragraph(s) ____, Page(s) ____. Basis for Award-Award is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The Government will accept the proposal that conforms to all aspects of the solicitation contains sufficient information to show the Offeror can meet or exceed the requirements listed in the Statement of Work and is Technically Acceptable.
