- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT: Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 5.201(b)(1)(i), this is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. The Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Head Start (OHS), intends to award a sole source contract to Booz Allen Hamilton. The purpose of the contract is to provide Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) network support for HHS/ACF/OHS Region 8. The contract will be awarded in Fiscal Year 2020 on a Firm Fixed Price basis with a period of performance consisting of one (1) 3-month Base Period and three (3) 1-month Option Periods. This is an acquisition conducted under the authority of the Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The statutory authority permitting this sole source acquisition is 41 U.S.C 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). This is not a Request for Quotes or Proposals. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals received in response to this notice. The purpose is to allow interested parties an opportunity to assert and explain their capability to perform the work. Any response must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence of capabilities and that competition would be advantageous to the Government. The most applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541611 � Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. The business size standard for this NAICS code is $16.5M. Responses must be submitted to the Contracting Officer no later than 2:00pm ET Wednesday, September 23, 2020. A determination to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
