- Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown NJ intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for the Aperta software applications. The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract with a period of performance consisting of a 12-month base period and four (4)12-month option periods to Aperta, 626 N. Harrison Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63122, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) entitled, Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).. Based on market research analysis, the Government s technical experts determined that only Aperta was technically capable to execute the requirements. The proposed solicitation number for this effort is 36C10B20Q0622. The place of performance for this acquisition is at the Contractor s facility. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541519. The estimated date of award for this action is October 1, 2020. This notification shall close on September 25, 2020. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
