- Description
- The Commander Fleet Readiness Center hereby gives notice of their intent to award an 8 (a) sole-source contract to Nakupuna Solutions, LLC 251 18th Street South, Suite 1005, Arlington, VA 22202, (Cage Code: 81GP1) in accordance with Office of the Under Secretary of Defense Memo 2020-O0009, Class Deviation�Justification and Approval Threshold for 8(a) Contracts. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Command Property Office (CPO) is a department under the Property Management Group. The CPO is the single voice that speaks for and to NAVAIR on Property Accountability while empowering NAVAIR to manage the property as a force multiplier for Sailors and Marines and a fiduciary agent of the taxpayer by being efficient, effective, transparent, and compliant with all auditability requirements and best practices. It has a requirement to Support for the NAVAIR Inventory Operations Center (IOC), Program Executive Office (PEO, and Program Office (PMA) to include Strategy/Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development, Plans of Actions & Milestones (POA&M), Senior DoD Leadership & NAVAIR Enterprise initiative support, communications, policy development support, risk assessments, and overall inventory accountability functional integration. This requirement will support NAVAIR CPO (Echelon II) and subordinate echelon efforts to optimize Navy inventory processes and increase inventory accountability and auditability in support of preparing NAVAIR for audit. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within two (2) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.�� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
