- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO Ewing Electronics, Inc (Ewing Engineered Solutions) to provide the following items: Brand Name Motorola APX8000 and APX8500 Hardware and Accessories, UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Ewing Electronics, Inc Ewing Engineered Solutions 1022 S Greenville Ave Ste 300 Allen, TX 75002-3345 Ewing Electronics, Inc is the lowest price technically acceptable quoter on GSA E-Buy RFQ M0068120Q0036/GSA RFQ1441808.� The RFQ is for (Brand Name: Motorola) (27) APX8000 All Band Portable Model 3.5 Radios, (2) APX8000H All Band Portable Model 3.5 Radios, (13) APX8500 All Band MP Mobile Radios, and (2) APX8500 All Band MP Mobile Dual Head Radios.� The below items are Open Market items and are non-severable (not stand-alone) Hardware and Accessories to the above radio and shall be awarded on the same contract per Motorola Solutions, Inc.� The Hardware and Accessories are listed below: HA00025AH_APX8000: 5 YEAR ESSENTIAL SVC w/ ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, QTY 29 QA09007: ADD: OUT OF THE BOX WIFI PROVISIONI, QTY 44 QA07680: ADD: MULTI SYSTEM OTAR, QTY 29 QA07576: ALT: TIA4950 BATT IMPRES 2 LIION 46, QTY 2 G89: ADD: NO ANTENNA NEEDED, QTY 15 GA00255AF_APX8500: 5 YEAR ESSENTIAL SVC w / ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE, QTY 15 GA01517: DEL: NO J600 ADAPTER CABLE NEEDED, QTY 15 GA01620: ADD: MULTI SYSTEM OTAR, QTY 15 G53: ADD: FPP PROGRAMMABILTY, QTY 15 This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations.� No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted.� No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available.� The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror�s ability to meet all requirements.� The Government will consider all EOIs received prior to 2 days after date of publication of this synopsis before 5:00 PM PST on that date.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� EOIs may be submitted via email to Luong Phan at luong.phan@usmc.mil.� The email must clearly identify this notice and the name of the point of contact on the first page.� Submitters bear the burden of ensuring that the EOI reaches the designated point of contact above on time and should allow a reasonable time for emails to be received.� All information must reach the office before the deadline specified and any information that arrives in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered.� The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of emails and should confirm by telephone that any email was received.� This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 13.� The anticipated award date is 30 September 2020.� Point of contact for this purchase is Luong Phan at luong.phan@usmc.mil.
