Page 2 of 2 This is sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The W.G. Bill Hefner Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, North Carolina 28144 is seeking potential sources capable to provide Records Storage Services. The Contractor should be able to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supplies, and supervision necessary to relocate, store, and retrieve medical and administrative records; provide space, security, and records management services for the Salisbury VA Healthcare System (SVAHCS) in Salisbury, North Carolina. Services shall include the preparation of files, packaging and labeling, pick up, storage, and retrieval service of medical records. The Commercial Records Storage Facility shall be large enough to accommodate storage of approximately 4,260 linear feet of medical and administrative records and 60 Cubic Feet of temperature controlled pathological records in accordance with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Record Standards. Files will be relocated from Building 2 at the SVAHCS, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28144, to an offsite NARA Approved Commercial Records Storage Facility. The NAICS code for this procurement is 493110 General Warehousing and Storage; Small Business Size Standards $30 Million. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small): identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Services Disabled Veteran-Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement. Subject line must reflect: Records Storage Sources Sought.
