Description
This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Building 20614 Upgrade.� The work shall include the following requirements listed in the specific requirements.� Demolition Contractor shall clean up rodent droppings/remains including under RAF. Contractor shall demo/remove existing windows, blinds, frames, and hardware. Qty. six (6). Contractor shall demo/remove existing window bars on windows being demo�d Qty. four (4). Contractor shall demo/remove existing store front double doors from west entrance to building.� Prep opening for new same size store front doors. Contractor shall demo/remove existing carpet. Contractor shall demo/remove flooring in restroom. Contractor shall demo/remove base trim in all areas where all flooring is being removed. Contractor shall demo/remove restroom FRP board, prep walls for new full height FRP board.� Existing sink, toilet, soap dispenser and toilet paper dispenser to be removed and saved for reinstallation, water heater to remain trim and frame FRB around.� Toilet seat cover dispenser to be removed and disposed of. Contractor to remove existing white boards in conference room and prep all walls for paint. Contractor shall demo/remove light fixture in restroom, prep for new. Contractor shall remove existing ceiling tiles in Conference Room and restroom, on west end of building. Construction Contractor shall seal up any penetrations and must provide rodent-proof under the floor. Contractor shall provide and install new Ramp up to RAF, and six (6) new RAF tiles and provide tile suction remover.� Current RAF mfg. is TATE, new tiles to me compatible.� Contractor to provide and install new store front double doors same size as removed.� Only one door operable.� Include all emergency exit hardware, Lenel badge reading system with card reader/push button, electric strike, handicapped entrance button and all necessary material for a fully functioning handicapped, badged secure entrance. Contractor shall provide and install new windows qty. six (6).� Patch/Repair Wall around window if necessary after window installation. Contractor to provide and install new window blinds (2� to match existing) qty. six(6) Plus two(2) storefront. Contractor to provide and install glare-reduction dark tint film on all windows, remove existing film on windows not being removed. Contractor shall patch any holes on the conference room walls, replace or repair any damaged door & window trim.� Patch and Repair wall panels.� Paint color to be dark gray.� Paint all visible duct work to match walls. Contractor shall patch, repair and paint walls on interior office.� Paint color to be match existing. Contractor to provide and install new FRP board to go full height of wall in restroom. Leave water heater in place ADD brace to platform for stability and cut/trim FRP board around water heater.� Reinstall sink, toilet, soap and toilet paper dispensers that were saved for reuse. Contractor to provide and install new light fixture in restroom. Contractor shall provide and install new VCT Flooring where all flooring was removed.� Include new ramp to RAF floor. Contractor to provide and install new black base trim where carpet & trim was removed. Contractor shall provide and install new ceiling tiles that match existing in Conference Room and restroom, on west end of building. Re-use ceiling grid.� Provide an extra box of tile to leave with building. Contractor shall provide and install new bulbs in conference room with LED bulbs, and shall repair all ballasts that are not operable. Option A. Not used Option B. Contractor shall prep west entrance for handicapped accessible lift. Contractor shall provide and install new ADA Accessible Handicapped Lift to meet all codes, provide drawings/layout for user approval.
