Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm Fixed Price Order from existing DLA BOA SPE4A1-19-G-0005 to Aviall Services, Inc, Dallas Fort Worth Airport, TX, for the procurement of nine (9) MQ-8C Fire Scout Engines, four (4) Electronic Engine Controls (EEC), two (2) Fuel Metering Units (FMUs), and twenty-five (25) Scavenge Oil Filters (SOF). This Acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, �Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements.� A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. This effort is covered under the Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) number 20-0176, dated 16 April 2020 � redacted version attached to this announcement.
