- Description
- This PRESOLICITATION notice is issued to publicize the planned solicitation release for the Next Generation Load Device- Medium (NGLD-M) requirement in late October 2020. This effort will be in support of Project Manager Tactical Radios (PM TR) and Product Lead Communications Security (PdL COMSEC)�s requirement for a NGLD family of replacement for the aging fleet of Simple Key Loader (SKL) devices. This is NOT a request for proposal, is NOT an authorization to begin work, and does NOT commit the Government to purchase any services/goods. No entitlement to payment by the Government of notice. The NGLD-M effort will be for a 10 year, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC). The anticipated ceiling for this effort, to include all options, will be $898M. The anticipated Period of Performance (PoP) for this IDIQ will be 10 years (120 months) consisting of three (3) year base period and seven (7) one (1) year options. The place of performance will be determined at the individual task order level and may include off site contractor facilities. This will be a full and open competitive effort. The NAICS Code is 334290. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 5810. Responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the solicitation when it is issued (NOT this pre-solicitation notice) which shall be considered by the agency. Contacting any Government personnel other than the individuals designated above may result in an organizational conflict of interest (OCI) and may result in a contractor being excluded from the competition and consideration for award.
