Description
Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Walla Walla District is seeking sources for a project entitled Septic Service Maintenance.� The work is located at Little Goose Dam in Dayton, WA.� This will be a firm-fixed price contract.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562991 Septic Tank and Related Services and the associated small business size standard is $8 million. Anticipated contract award January 2020. This sources-sought announcement is a tool to identify small and large businesses with the capability to accomplish the work.� This is not a solicitation.� Only firms who respond to this announcement by submitting the following information will be used in determining whether to set aside this requirement.� Please do not respond to this notice unless you intend to respond to the solicitation. A) A list of current or past projects demonstrating technical experience with work of a similar nature to that listed in the Summary Scope of Work.� Include a statement detailing any special qualifications and certifications, applicable to the scope of this project, held by your firm and/or in-house personnel. B) A reference list for each of the projects submitted in A) above. C) Provide a statement of your firm�s business size (HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), small disadvantaged, or woman-owned) with regards to the NAICS code listed above. D) Provide a statement that your firm intends to submit an offer on the project when it is advertised. E) CAGE Code and DUNS number. Submit this information to Ruth Johnson, Contract Specialist, via email to ruth.a.johnson@usace.army.mil.� Your response to this notice must be received on or before 2:00 on Monday, October 19, 2020. � Summary Scope of Work: The following specifications pertain to the cost to Hydro blast two inch lateral drain field lines 22 each at 60 feet, and remove waste from septic tank and drain holding tanks used at Little Goose Lock and Dam, Dayton Washington.� Pumping waste from Powerhouse septic tank (settling chamber and clarifying chamber) � maximum 4400 gals.� Waste will be pumped by the powerhouse pumping system to the tailrace deck where a truck can connect to the piping.� The bottom few inches of the tank cannot be pumped out because of the damage caused by cavitation of the pumps. Pump grey water from dosing and detention tanks�maximum 3000 gallons.� Tanks will be cleaned with fresh water to remove any residual solids. Removing end cap for each lateral Pumping out all water from piping�about 1000 gallons Hydro blasting each lateral to clean and to clear orifices of debris. Inspection of each lateral with a camera (See Snake or equivalent, provided by the vendor) to verify no debris is present. Replacing all caps Trucking off waste water to be disposed of per state and federal regulations.
