- Description
- The 48th Maintenance Group (48 MXG) must provide a safe working environment for its Airmen to work in while they maintain the 48th Fighter Wing's (48 FW's) fleet of F-15C/Es in Protective Aircraft Shelters (PASs), hangars, arms and engine shops. �This requirement seeks to ensure that the 48 MXG can provide its Airmen with a safe working environment over the next 5 years by providing contracted services to clean and repair the epoxy resin floors of 49 PASs, 2 hangars, and 2 other shops at RAF Lakenheath on a routine and emergency basis. �Each PAS has approximately 803 square meters of floor space, and the 48 MXG determined that each PAS needs to be thoroughly cleaned on a quarterly basis. �Therefore, the 48 MXG needs to procure contracted services that are capable of cleaning at least 157,388 square meters of floorspace per year in accordance with the requirements contained in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Requested Information The following information is requested from interested companies.� The United States (US) Government will use this information to determine the best future acquisition strategy for this requirement. 1.� When the aforementioned service is formally solicited by the US Government, would your company be interested in providing an offer?� If so, then can you please provide the contact details of your company? 2.� How much time would your company require to provide an offer? 3.� Does your company have experience with cleaning aircraft hangar floors, or something equivalent? 4.� Does your company have experience with repairing aircraft hangar floors, or something equivalent? 5.� Does your company have a CAGE code and DUNS number?� If so, then please provide that information. 6.� Does your company have an active registration in SAM?� If so, then when does your company�s registration expire? 7.� In the case of an emergency, how much time do the employees from your company need to travel to RAF Lakenheath, England? 8.� Based upon the attached �DRAFT� PWS attached, are there any aspects that are unclear and/or do not allow a clear understanding of the US Government�s requirements?� 9.� Based upon the attached �DRAFT� PWS attached, are there commercial industry practices that appear to differ greatly than what is being requested by the US Government under the anticipated, forthcoming solicitation? 10.� If interested, then please email the point of contact listed below.
