DLA Land and Maritime intends to solicit and issue a contract on a competitive basis for: 29 EA, TRAILING EDGE TILES, 2090 016047390, DURA 13 TILE(13X28.5X0.25IN). The Navy has increased the quantity from 20 to 29 TRAILING EDGE TILES. SHIP TO: W25G1U. The current approved sources are: HUNTINGTON INGALLS, CAGE 43689 MARINE POLYMERS INC, CAGE 1K3G5 All interested sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by this agency. The solicitation will be available 6 days from the synopsis beginning date. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing/repair knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition/repair of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing/repair knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application.
