- This effort will be�to provide engineering and technical consulting services for the RMCD prototype phase as a part of a larger Agile RMCD Development Team consisting of AFLCMC/WLS C-5 System Program Office (SPO) personnel, 402nd Software Engineering Group (SWEG)�personnel, and a third-party hardware supplier who is producing prototype RMCD hardware and software through a separate rapid acquisition program. The overall objective of this effort is for� the contractor to provide technical experts to the RMCD Agile Development Team, to produce a hardware and software prototype architecture that is suitable for transition into the RMCD Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase.�� The Contractor shall identify and prioritize high-risk technical requirements relative to the integration of the RMCD prototype into the C-5M aircraft and develop engineering plans to meet those requirements.� The Contractor shall include an analysis of specific technical items shown below and shall deliver the results of the engineering planning and technical analysis as a section in the RMCD Integration Plan incrementally at the end of each sprint and deliver the final documentation by second to last sprint.�� The Contractor shall create C-5M specifications and requirements or manage changes to existing C-5M specifications and requirements generated by the RMCD program. The Contractor shall provide qualified C-5M engineering representatives to participate in supplier qualification testing led by the C-5M SPO and 402nd�SWES.� The Contractor shall review the test report from an installation suitability and airworthiness perspective and provide a written assessment. The Contractor shall deliver the results of their assessment as a written section in the RMCD Integration Plan incrementally at the end of each applicable sprint and deliver the final written assessment documentation in the RMCD Integration Plan by the second to last sprint.�� Any interested party needs to have experience integrating current C-5 software with new prototype hardware software and firmware.
