- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. --------------------------------------------------- The Government is�issuing a solicitation for the following item: NSN: N/A Noun: Namer Power Pack Less Transmission (NPPLT) Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price� FOB: Origin Packaging: Commercial� The solicitation will result in a�7 year�Contract. The solicitation will be issued as a�sole source procurement. The issue date is�09 October, 2020 with a response date of�09 November, 2020. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502�and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will�not be provided. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-4, International Agreement. The Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to MTU America Inc. Source for additional information regarding the sole source determination. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible and capable sources may submit statements of capabilities.�A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice does not restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL AND IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT.
