- Description
- The following is a pre-solicitation notice in accordance with FAR 5.204 and 12.204(b), and is NOT a request for proposal. On or around October 16th, 2020 the United States General Services Administration (GSA), New England Region, intends to release a solicitation that seeks to retain an experienced and highly qualified commercial real estate brokerage entity in order to assist GSA in the sale of the FASTA high value assets. Under the first round of FASTA, twelve (12) high value assets totaling $500-$750 Million in potential value were identified by PBRB and approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for disposition (the HVA Portfolio). The contractor the GSA will contract with shall: analyze the HVA Portfolio; prepare and execute the transaction strategy; market the properties; analyze, evaluate, and present all offers; and provide for all other brokerage services consistent with a commercial brokerage agreement. This contract action will not be set-aside to The Small Business Programs. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 531210 � Office of Real Estate Agents and Brokers. The resulting contract may be both a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and a Time and Materials (T&M) contract type. The intended period of performance will be for one (1) year with the option to extend for an additional six (6) months. The procurement method will be in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 13 � Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items. As previously mentioned above, the Government intends to release the solicitation on or around October 16th, 2020. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor beta.sam.gov for release of the Solicitation (RFP) and amendments. The RFP will only be available electronically.
