Description

UPDATED **** 31 August 2020 **** UPDATED Amendment 01 was released on 28 August to re-solicit/extend the response date for offers for this solicitation. Responses are now due to the Government no later than 10:00 AM on Friday September 11, 2020. Responses must include a signed copy of the Amendment 01 SF30 in the solicitation response. Please direct all correspondence to the Contract Specialist AND Contracting Officer at the email addresses listed in the Point of Contact information section. OC20578 is a Giddings and Lewis RGV8 pallet shuttle system that is utilized by both Giddings & Lewis (MAG) 5 Axis CNC Mills (OC20576 & OC20577). The assets are critical to production and cannot operate effectively�if the pallet shuttle is down. �In order to repair the RGV8 pallet shuttle system, the CINCRON cell needs to be retrofitted with a supportable control system. Due to the criticality of NC equipment, hardware components used for the control system shall be COTS items to lower lead time and expedite repair.�
