Description

This is a request for quote for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested but a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, D.C. intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price (FPP) type contract for a high resolution, bright video wall. The system must consist of Barco, Incorporated components, provide installation, and basic training as described in attachment 1. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, DPN 20161222, and NMCARS 13-14. The NAICS Code is 33411 � Computer and Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing with the associated small business size standard of 1,250. The associated Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6625. This award will be made to the offeror who represents the lowest quote technically acceptable (LQTA) proposal to the government. Technically acceptable is defined as meeting the minimum requirements as listed in attachment 1 (Specification List) and attachment 2 (DD 1423).
