Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground � Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities and Development Command (CCDC), Soldier Performance Optimization Directorate (SPOD) intends to procure on a sole source basis under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements � �Polar Team Pro sets, Polar Pro sensor sets and chest straps. Under the MASTR-E program, the Biomechanics team is conducting research on small unit performance analytics, SUPRA, TISMA, and Field Study. The Biomechanics team already has 4 sets of Polar Team Pros, and need these additional sets for testing troops in the field, across 3 MASTR-E protocols. Specifications include: -5 Polar Team Pro sets, set consisting of: 10 Team Pro sensors, 1 Pro Team dock, 1 messenger bag, 10 red soft straps M-XXL, 1 washing pouch, 1 AC adaptor -30 Polar Pro sensor sets, set consisting of: 1 strap and transmitter -15 XS-S chest straps and 5 M-XXL chest straps Natick Contracting is anticipating awarding this contract to Polar Electro Inc. 15 Grumman Rd W Ste 1200, Bethpage, NY, 11714-5028, United States. Polar Electro Inc. is the only known source that can supply the Polar Team Pro sets, Polar Pro sensor sets and chest straps and it is proprietary to Polar Electro Inc. A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be issued.
