- This is an Amendment for Solicitation 70Z04421R21000200 which is issued to 1) Notify contractors/vendors of the Government's Responses to all questions received as of October 9, 2020. 2)� Add Revise RFP Attachment 2 - IDIQ labor Rate and Ceiling to update the Task Order 1 Tab and change CLIN 00001 QTY�� from�8 months to 12 months. 3) Add RFP Attachment 15 - Industrial Security Addendum (Unclass) -SAROPS SUPPORT. 4). Add RFP Attachment 16 - Industrial Secuirty Addendum (Unclass) -SAROPS MAPPING. A general description of the SAROPS program and system follows. In 2003, the development of the mission essential Search and Rescue Optimal Planning System (SAROPS) began to support the United States Coast Guard's (USCG) Search and Rescue Mission. Four years later in 2007, SAROPS deployed to all USCG Sector, District and Area Command Centers, SAROPS has since been in operation. SAROPS is a Command and Control tool used for the direction of military forces.�The ultimate SAROPS product is a Search Action Plan with search assignments for search and rescue units. While the central function of SAROPS is to model drift simulations and then to establish optimal search plans there are other essential capabilities including geospatial analytics, a variety of map services and interfaces with�other USCG, DOD and other command and control systems.� The contractor will provide sustainment services by maintaining the software and infrastructure components of SAROPS and support services for futher refinement of the system to ensure all operational, functional and system requirements are met and the�SAROPS system's platform remains viable.
