- Description
- This is a Request for Information (RFI) in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(c)(7) for the purpose of developing an acquisition strategy and obtaining industry input relevant to a possible future solicitation. This request is being issued for the purpose of exchanging information to improve the understanding of the Librarys requirements and industry capabilities. This RFI does not constitute a commitment by the Library of Congress (Library). The Library is pursuing a multi-year plan to transform the experience of its nearly 2 million annual visitors, share more of its national treasures with the public and show how Library collections connect with visitors own creativity and research. The project is part of a strategic plan established by Librarian of Congress, Dr. Carla Hayden, to make the Library more user-centered for Congress, creators and learners of all ages. The Library intends to conduct an online and print campaign to raise funds to support this project. Through this RFI, the Library is conducting market research to identify potentially capable providers and gather comments/suggestions regarding the development of a contract for the provision of materials for a fund raising campaign. Please see the attachment for a description of the information requested, as well as question and submission instructions. Questions regarding this RFI should be submitted in writing no later than October 30, 2020 at 12:00 Noon EST. Please send questions by e-mail. Responses are due no later than November 18, 2020 at 12:00 Noon EST. The response should include Online and Print Campaign in the subject line.
