Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract.� Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). �Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if it's determined only one source is reasonably available to satisfy agency requirements, as supplemented with additional information in this notice.� The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) intends to award on a sole source basis a Firm Fixed Price purchase order (PO) to Phoenix Software International.� The contractor shall provide licenses for VDE and Entrypoint software. NASS currently relies on the VDE software for the keying of forms in the Frames Processing Group at the National Operations Center in St. Louis, MO and Regional Field Offices across the country. To ensure this functionality continues to be available, NASS requires the new Entrypoint software and the purchase of VDE maintenance licenses. Period of Performance: The base period of performance will be November 05, 2020 through November 04, 2021. Option period 1 � November 05, 2021 to November 04, 2022. Option period 2 � November 05, 2022 to November 04, 2023. Option period 3 � November 05 to November 04, 2024. Option period 4 � November 05, 2024 to November 04, 2025.
