What is the estimated number of steam traps at the campus? Breakout between radiator and in-line traps? How many in confined spaces? Is the C-4 license required for the assessment or just for work that may be done in the future? Our mechanical engineer will be onsite for the assessment. PROJECT MANAGER S RESPONSE VA Loma Linda has three (3) Cleaver Brooks boilers 200PSIG. VA Loma Linda has over 400 steam traps; none located in confined spaces. The C-4 license requirement is for the assessment only. The contract is to perform an assessment of all steam and hot water insulation on all the piping throughout entire hospital and provide a list of noted discrepancies with quote. VA Loma Linda plumbing shop recently completed a steam trap contract so steam traps are not required to be inspected or assessed.
