- The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to provide semi-annual certified Tactical Terrain Database (Part No. 998-3609-###) software updates, to be used in Compact Flash Card (Part No. 718-1673-004), produced in accordance with proprietary Honeywell procedures and specifications and approved for use in the C-130J Military Honeywell International Inc. Mark V Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) or Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) Computer (Part No. 965-0779-001, CAGE 97896) per Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Technical Standard Order TSO-C151b, witin 90 days after being provided National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) published DVOF (Digital Vertical Obstruction File), and shall be delivered with a certificate of conformance. This database shall use both NGA Level 1 digital terrain elevation data (DTED) and NGA DVOF, shall provide worldwide coverage without voids, and shall provide terrain coverage without voids for elevations above and below Mean Sea Level (MSL). The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined. Other than the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency obstacle data, the Government does not own or have access to the data for these databse software updates.� Note: Samples are not available for potential suppliers data to evaluate. Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The contractor is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor's facility. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts.� Note: The known sole soure contractor for this effort is Honeywell International Inc., Honeywell Aerospace --Phoenix (Deer Valley). 2111 N 19th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85027-2708 Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in furture solicitations or contract awards.
