Description

NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Engineering Organization has a requirement for a Model Based Engineering (MBE) environment for design, analysis, simulation, and manufacturing. This procurement will be comprised of new and existing software licenses with maintenance that includes software updates and technical support and the installation and configuration of the Siemens Product Lifecycle Management capability to support MBE. A complement of tightly coupled brand name products and services from Siemens is required to achieve the desired model associativity and efficiencies provided by an integrated design suite of tools.NASA/MSFC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the Teamcenter Implementation Support and Software Maintenance in support of the Engineering environment for design, analysis, simulation, and manufacturing from Siemens Government Technologies.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact (charles.w.farrior@nasa.gov) no later than 11/10/2020 by 4:00 P.M. CST. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
