- Page 3 of 3 This is a Modification Notice to inform interested contractor of the modification terminating the remaining portion of the subject contract. The government anticipates issuance of a modification for the Central Arkansas Veteran Healthcare System (CAVHS) project, Clean-Dirty HVAC Rooms. The Architect-Engineering Company in agreement with the Department of Veteran Affairs have mutually agreed to Terminate for Convenience work not performed as a result to both parties concurrence. The government has determined it to be more beneficial to perform internally the remaining work associated with this project. The NAICS is 541310 applies and size standard is $8.0 Million. The government anticipates posting this modification award on or about July 28, 2020. Abbreviated SOW: In response to the Department of Veterans Affairs concern about the number of Clean/Dirty Storage Rooms in operation at JLM and the questions whether all of the storage areas are required by code or could some of the areas be re-purposed for better efficiency; the government awarded a contract for a contractor to an Engineering/Architectural (E/A) design solution for the above referenced Problem Statement through site investigation/verification of the existing systems and preparation of design drawings and specifications. The project(s) will be located at both the John McLellan Memorial Veterans Hospital (JLM) in Little Rock, AR and Building 170 in North Little Rock, AR, respectively. This acquisition was a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). DISCLAIMER: This modification notification is NOT a Solicitation.
