- LOCATION OF SERVICES �USDA Forest Service,�Skykomish Ranger District,�74920 NE Stevens Pass Hwy,�Skykomish, WA 98288 SCOPE OF WORK This project is for janitorial and recycling services for the Skykomish Ranger District office in accordance with the terms, specifications and provisions in a manner that will maintain a facility in satisfactory condition and present a clean, neat and professional appearance. The work areas consist of the Skykomish Ranger District Office, public restroom, GIS Building, and the conference building which is approx. 4800 square feet (the square footage refers to net assignable and related use space, including all restrooms (4) and inside storage areas, except for a furnace room which is approximately 5 feet by 8 feet. It is highly recommended that companies visit the facility to verify areas that are to be cleaned. PERIOD OF SERVICES Base Year:�Dec 1, 2020 to Nov 30, 2021;�Option Year 1:�Dec 1, 2021 to Nov 30, 2022;�Option Year 2:�Dec 1, 2022 to Nov 30, 2023;�Option Year 3:�Dec 1, 2023 to Nov 30, 2024; and Option Year 4:�Dec 1, 2024 to Nov 30, 2025. PLANNED WORK SCHEDULE Work under this contract shall be accomplished outside of regular office working hours. The regular office working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; and weekends in May through October from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Not all areas will be in use during the weekend period. The Contractor will not be required to perform work on national holidays. If a scheduled workday coincides with a national holiday, the services normally scheduled for that day shall be performed either the day before or the day after the holiday.� GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY (GFP) The government will supply the following supplies: Toilet tissue; Paper towels; Plastic garbage bags; Hand soap: and Light bulbs. The Contractor is responsible for notifying the Contracting Officer�s Representative (COR) or Government Technical Monitor (GTM) when supplies are running low. CONTRACTOR-FURNISHED PROPERTY (CFP) AND SERVICES The company is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, supplies (except those provided by the Government), and incidentals necessary to perform this work. The Contractor will not be permitted to store Contractor-furnished supplies and equipment in any Government building. CLEANING PRODUCTS To prevent hazardous cleaning products from entering the Skykomish Ranger District septic systems, the use of less-toxic products is required. WORK STANDARDS The Contractor shall exercise care in work methods to prevent damage to any office equipment, windows, etc. All work under their contract shall be performed in a skillful manner. The Contracting Officer may, in writing, require the Contractor to remove from work any employee the Contracting Officer deems incompetent, careless, or otherwise objectionable for theft, possession and/or removal of materials, supplies, equipment, or any Government-owned property, or for unsatisfactory performance. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining satisfactory standards of employee competency, conduct, appearance, integrity and shall be responsible for taking such disciplinary action with respect to their employees as may be necessary. The Contractor shall prohibit their employees from disturbing paper on desks, opening desk drawers or cabinets, or using telephones or office equipment provided for official Government use.� INVOICE PROCESSING PLATFORM (IPP) The awardee will be paid its invoices via IPP at http://www.ipp.gov.� SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT In order to be considered for contract award the awardee must have an active www.sam.gov account and maintain this account for the duration of this contract.� SOLICITATION ISSUANCE The solicitation will be issued on or after fifteen (15) calendar days from the date the www.beta.sam presolicitation notice was issued, which was 10/27/2020.
