Description
The 48th Contracting Squadron (48 CONS) at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, United Kingdom, seeks feedback from companies/entities capable of providing inspections of all Potential Explosion Sites (PES) on RAF Lakenheath and RAF Feltwell. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, travel, periodic inspection, minor repair, and other items and services necessary to Perform Potential Explosive Sites (PES) Inspections at munitions storage facilities and areas, transit routes, utilities, aircraft egress facilities, hardened aircraft shelters for RAF Lakenheath, and RAF Feltwell. Purpose of these inspections are to ensure Ministry of Defense (MoD) Explosive Regulations are complied with and PES facilities are fit for purpose.The 48th Civil Engineering Squadron at RAF Lakenheath has identified a potential need for fuel tank inspection services.� The Contractor would be required to provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, travel, periodic inspection, minor repair, and other items and services necessary to Perform Potential Explosive Sites (PES) Inspections at munitions storage facilities and areas, transit routes, utilities, aircraft egress facilities, hardened aircraft shelters for RAF Lakenheath, and RAF Feltwell. Purpose of these inspections are to ensure Ministry of Defense (MoD) Explosive Regulations are complied with and PES facilities are fit for purpose. Anticipated contract performance is one (1) base year (12 months) with four (4) option years.� Projected mobilization to commence thirty (30) days after award on 1 February 2021, with a performance start date of�8 March 2021. All responses to this RFI must be provided as an attachment in an e-mail message addressed to the Primary Point of Contact (POC), below with the subject line �Response to PES RFI� no later than November 6, 2020.� Only electronic responses will be accepted.� Responses submitted by any other means will not be considered. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND IS BEING USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF MARKET ANALYSIS ONLY.�
