Description

The Region Health Contracting Office-Central, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source Contract to GBS Corp., a Small Business, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.201(a)(1)(ii), on or about 30 October 2020, for an Easy ID Thermal Printer, Accessories, and Software for the Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital (BJACH), Fort Polk, LA. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 323111, and the size standard is 500. GBS Corp. is the manufacture of the printer, accessories, and software and is the only company that can provide OEM upgrades and support. The Easy ID printer is a replacement of old outdated equipment and is the only printer compatible with existing components in use at BJACH. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements. The Region Health Contracting Office-Central intends to make a sole source award to GBS Corp., 7233 Freedom Ave NW, North Canton, OH 44720.
