- Description
- This is a Market Research Announcement, Request for Information (RFI), market survey for information only, in accordance with FAR Part 10, Market Research. The U.S. Army Contracting Command- Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Division B intends to award a period of performance extension to Contract W15P7T-10-D-D420, Task Order 0020 in order to allow for a logical follow-on. The period of performance extension is six (6) months with an estimated start date of 16 November 2020. There will NOT be a transition period. The Contractor has to be up and running; ready to provide support by the start date. The replies to this market research will be used to assess whether or not competition is viable for this effort. Attached is the Performance Work Statement (PWS) entitled, Engineering, Logistics, and Manufacturing Support Services for US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Security Assistance Management Branch, dated 6 March 2017. The requirement defined in the attached PWS has been identified by the cognizant Government activity as a potential ceiling increase to R2-3G contract, W15P7T-10-D-D420, Task Order 0020. As such, the undersigned has determined that research of the R2-3G market is necessary to decide the best course of action for the Government. This market research does not obligate the Government in any way, nor does it commit the Government to any specific course of action. The costs of preparing the Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) and the schedule will NOT be reimbursable, and you are advised to consider this in your replies. Please review the attached PWS and follow the steps outlined below: 1. Provide your notice of interest via the email to the contracting POC within 2 business day of receipt of this message (COB Friday, 30 October 2020). 2. If your organization does have an interest, please provide a ROM and a realistic schedule of performance via email within 3 business days of receipt of this message prior to 5:00 PM EDT on Monday, 2 November 2020). Any ROM and schedule received shall be evaluated by the Government Task Leader or Contracting Officers Representative (COR) to aid in the determination of the best course of action for the Government.
