Description: SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: 87ï¿½ WPB and 154ï¿½ WPC Patrol Boats Main Diesel Engine and Generator Exhaust System Parts Sources Sought Number: 70Z08021S15002B00 This is a MARKET SURVEY / SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE, pursuant to FAR Part 10 (Market Research), FAR Part 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1. This is not a pre-solicitation notice or solicitation for proposals/quotations.ï¿½ REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Patrol Boat Product Line (PBPL) has a requirement for the purchase of the following DeAngelo Marine Exhaust, Inc., Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts at a discount off of list price: * See attachment for complete parts list. This Sources Sought is solely being issued to obtain information on what items are available in the market. ï¿½This notice to industry, and any subsequent correspondence in regards to this specific notice will not result in any orders for work or contractual agreements. ï¿½The U.S. Coast Guard will enter into a contract with only one vendor; therefore, information must be provided for all items listed above to be acceptable for consideration for future purchases. These are marine Main Diesel Engine and Generator Exhaust System parts for the U.S. Coast Guardï¿½s 87 foot and 154 foot Patrol Boats. The Government will allow competitive offers to be submitted for new items listed for purchase. The Government DOES NOT possess the necessary drawings, technical specifications, etc., to supply with this requirement. At the present time, this acquisition is expected to be restricted to a sole source; and the anticipated NAICS Code is 333618, Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing with a corresponding small business size standard of 1,500 employees. Period of Performance: It is anticipated that one firm, fixed-price, multi-year, requirements contract for one (1) base year and four (4) option years will be awarded for this requirement. The following information / documentation must be included in your response: (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit a quote for this solicitation as a prime contractor, to include: Name of Company, Address, DUNS Number, Point of Contact and Phone Number, Business Size for the applicable NAICS Code and, if applicable, your Small Business Status along with a copy of the Certificate from the Small Business Administration (SBA) certifying the companyï¿½s small business status; (b) proof you can provide all of the brand name parts in accordance with the OEM standards, processes, and data rights; and (c) evidence of experience in supplying the required items to include: Contract Numbers, Project Titles and Dollar Amounts, Points of Contact and Telephone Numbers. ï¿½At least two references are requested, but more are desirable. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made for a small business set-aside.
