Description

Sole Source Acquisition for MXU-648 Travel Pod Refurbishment The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to EhPro Custom Fabrication. The Service Provider (SP) shall provide all labor, tools, hardware, and equipment necessary to refurbish and retrofit existing MXU-648 travel pods into proprietarily designed MXU-648E/A and MXU-648F/A variant travel pods. Any non-compliant pods shall be made compliant with T.O. 16W41-2-1 and associated MXU-648E/A and MXU-648F/A technical guidance. Prospective vendors must have engineering and flight certification from the F-15 SPO. APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 3 November 2020 at 2:00 P.M. EST.
