Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41 U.S.C.1901 as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) for sole source commercial acquisitions. The Mission Installation Contracting Command at Yuma Proving Grounds, AZ hereby gives notice of its intention to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite-Delivery requirements type contract for a five year period to Vaisala Incorporated, 194 South Taylor Avenue, Louisville, Colorado, 80027 for purchasing Radiosondes (Model #RS41). The Government has Vaisala's proprietary atmospheric sounding station, MW31 and MW41. The Radiosondes must be compatible and work with the proprietary electronics developed by Vaisala Inc. to include sensors for temperature, humidity, pressure and internal circuits. The anticipated award date is November 4, 2020.� The North American Industry Code for this acquisition is 334511 with a size standard of 1250. This announcement constitutes the only notice. However, the government will respond to any submittals received within three business days after date of publication of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of any proposal or feedback provided by any vendor. All responsible sources may submit a proposal by close of notification date Wednesday November 4, 2020. �No solicitation document is available and telephone requests for information will not be honored.
