- Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 of the Department of Veterans Affairs is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing Pharmacist s and Pharmacy Technician s Letter for all sites of James J. Peters VA Medical Center. The contractor shall provide access to a web-based subscription to the Pharmacist s Letter w/CE and on demand past Webinars (not Live Webinars) for (41) Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Technician s Letter w/CE and Live Webinars for (24) Pharmacy Technicians. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 519130. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email) and must be received no later than November 5, 2020 at 4:00pm. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic category. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 519130. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on beta.SAM.gov at a later date, all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Statement of Work Pharmacy serial titles James J. Peters VA Medical Center. Bronx, NY Introduction Pharmacist s and Pharmacy Technician s Letter is to provide simultaneous searchable formatted on-line reference materials and full text medical journals (serials) in searchable format with both offering CE s. The resource allows one to sign up for their Communications Enrollment to receive drug updates, medication therapy advice, monthly new issue alerts and Live CE offerings notifications. Scope of Work The contractor shall provide access to a web-based subscription to the Pharmacist s Letter w/CE and on demand past Webinars (not Live Webinars) for (41) Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Technician s Letter w/CE and Live Webinars for (24) Pharmacy Technicians. The requirement is for an online multi-user subscription to Pharmacist s Letter and Pharmacy Technician s Letter for the use of a facility-wide (all James J. Peters sites) pharmacy staff. Performance Requirements Contractor shall maintain legal authority to authorize access and distribute Pharmacist s and Pharmacy Technician s Letter online database/subscription via IP address. Contactor will be required to provide online electronic resource database delivery through the Internet at a website available 24 hours per day, seven days per week with unlimited concurrent user access for all who have been provided access. Downtime or interruption of service should be kept to a minimal. Restoration of service shall be made within 4 hours from the time of notifications. Contractor shall provide the servicing office (i.e. Library Service) with administrative support contact information for reporting discrepancies and /or HTTP: errors that prevent JJP VAMC medical personnel from accessing the online resource database.
