- Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 of the Department of Veterans Affairs is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing Storm Sewer and Sanitary Sewer Cleaning and Jetting for VA New Jersey Health Care System East Orange and Lyons Campus. The contractor shall ensure the interior sanitary sewer lines are kept clear and unobstructed, free of clogs helping to prevent overflows and backups. The Storm Sewers must also be kept clear of silt, leaves and other debris allowing rainwater to flow freely through the system and away from roadways which could otherwise be flooded. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 562998. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email) and must be received no later than November 13, 2020 at 4:00pm. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic category. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 562998. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on beta.SAM.gov at a later date, all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. See additional information below: Location: East Orange 385 Tremont Ave East Orange, NJ 07018 Requirement: Provide all materials, equipment, supervision, and labor to vacuum and power jet storm sewer sites Storm sewer cleaning will be performed in all parking lots and roadways including all catch basins and manholes. Provide all materials, equipment, supervision, and labor to jet and/or snake Sanitary sewer cleaning will be on all Mains inside and outside and Laterals and Stacks in all buildings. This contract requires the contractor to vacuum and power jet storm sewer sites on an annual basis, sewer mains outside the building semi-annually, Bldgs. 15, 16 and 17 Main bathrooms monthly. Location: Lyons VA 151 Knollcroft Rd. Lyons, NJ 07939 Requirement: Provide all materials, equipment, supervision, and labor to vacuum and power jet storm sewer sites on an annual basis. Areas involved will be Housekeeping Quarters, all parking lots and roadways around Circle I and Circle II, inside both courtyard circles and Knollcroft Road.
